ABOUT US

The Academy of St Mary-le-Bow is a flexible orchestra based in central London. The ensemble is made up of outstanding non-professional musicians from all walks of life, all of whom are young professionals working in London.

 

Since its formation in 2016 the orchestra has gone from strength to strength, performing in venues across London, working with a vast range of distinguished guest conductors, leaders, and soloists. 

The Academy of St Mary-le-Bow is run by a committee of players.

The Academy performs a programme of English music including Vaughan Williams' stunning Symphony No. 5, as part of the Summer Music in City Churches Festival.
